The aim of the project "Master and Post Graduate Education and Training and the Multi-Disciplinary Teams" IDES-EDU is the design and implementation
of a multidisciplinary master's program and post graduate education in the field of implementing the EPBD directive and other related EC directives.
Cooperation between students, experts and industry representatives will at the same time raise awareness and knowledge on innovative energy technologies.
15 European Universities and European Association REHVA are involved in the project, led by the Netherlands consulting company Cauberg-Huygen.
Within the IDES-EDU project a curricula and study materials will be prepared, with
balanced content on the design and construction of energy-efficient
buildings and for work in interdisciplinary teams . Totally 14
learning modules was formed, each with 8 to 12 lectures. Education materials, which we have
tested with architecture students from 7 countries within the framework of ERASMUS
program will be freely available as the project continues. Also
advanced dynamic tool for searching and viewing of multimedia contents will be developed.
LSTB employees designed and developed Energy
supply of buildings module. The module consists of 12 sets of lectures by presenting
technologies for the production of heat and electrical energy. They are therefore
basis for understanding and design of energy self-sufficient buildings.
