Build-in windows and doors

Windows (1) and doors (2) are a product of company GAŠPER. Built-in windows are Prima 7.8 and door D 753-G PASIV, which is in compliance with passive building standards. Thermal transmittance of glazing with three layers of glass and filled with Krypton is Ug 0.5 W/m²K, the energy transmittance g 0.6, light transmitivity tvis 0.74. Thermal transmittance of window Uw is 0.83 W/m²K, sound insulation Rw 48 dB and air tightness class 4. Larger window in the living unit has a separate small part that allows natural ventilation without the risk of burglary or ingress of rain.

Roof window (3) and skylight in the form of a window with a dome (4) are product of  VELUX company. Roof window, model GGL enables, in addition to improved natural lighting of living unit, intensive natural cross-ventilation due to the large height difference between both windows in the living unit. Thus, ventilation with up to 10 exchanges per hour is achieved, which significantly reduces Cell overheating in the summer. See: > monitoring >reports. Thermal transmittance of roof window glazing is Ug = 1.1 W/m²K, the energy transmittance g 0.56, transmittance tvis 0.77. Thermal transmittance of the entire window Uw is equal to 1.4 W/m²K. Skylight windows, model CFP, are installed in the sanitary and technical units. Their thermal transmittance Uw is 1.4 W/m²K.

Installation

In addition to thermal-technical properties of windows and doors adequate installation in the building envelope is also important. GAŠPER windows are installed according to RAL installation guidelines. The window is equipped with sealing strips at delivery, one of which on inside is tightened with a layer of vapour barrier, while the outer with the air-tight foil. Thus also the required air tightness of the building is provided.
